JCL Testing for Today's Z Enterprise

IBM Z application delivery can be daunting for enterprises with decades of investments in Z applications along with new personnel having limited IBM Z experience. One of the biggest hurdles is fully leveraging valuable z infrastructure investments while integrating current and new-generation teams that use different tools and processes to test and manage their batch applications.

In this webinar, we discuss seamlessly integrating JCL (Job Control Language) testing services within the preferred Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) and enterprise build tools adopted by today’s z DevOps and agile development practitioners.

Discussion topics include:

  • Quickly enabling access and administration of highly predictive JCL testing services across the hybrid z enterprise
  • Making common JCL testing services accessible through user interface of choice (e.g. 3270 green screen, Eclipse or Visual Code)
  • Enabling automation scripts for requesting common JCL testing services from any platform supporting consumption through CLI, Java Client or REST API
